One sickle cell patient wey her name be Onyinye Ezeanyika,
don die yesterday morning for one mission hospital for Onitsha, after d
hospital management being hold am for there, because say her and her family no
fit pay the hospital money for treatment…
According to DAILY POST, we gather say Onyinye been dey there, reach one year and six months
as the hospital no gree release am, because her and her family been never pay
the hospital money wey reach N1.2million
The coordinator of the people Living With Sickle Cell
Disorder, PLWSCD, Mrs Aisha Edward wey disclose this matter talk say, Onyinye
die for the hospital where dem hold her hostage and na the hospital management
do this kind wicked thing.
She disclose say Onyinye been done sneak commot for the
hospital about a month ago to her house so
that she go fit show her the bill wey the hospital give her.
“She say, I been give her money by then and I even advice am
say make she escape from the hospital. But when the hospital discover say she
been done visit me, dem come dey threaten her, na him she come dey fear. But
since then, Onyinye no get herself again….
“She even tell me say the hospital been dey plan to keep her
there until Christmas when better people wey dem dey call Philanthropists dey
come around to pay bills for patients wey no fit pay their bill. Na the motive
wey the hospital been get, wey dem hold am for the hospital till she die….”
Edward say the thing wey dey pain her now be say, the
hospital wey dey involved na missionary hospital fa!

say hospitals dey purposely use sickle
cell patients, as dem go charge them very high so that these Philantropists and
other concerned organizations fit come pay, so that dem fit see small chua chua
money take put for pocket… Chai!
Speaking on the sickle cell patient wey just die, Edward say,
“I been call her the day before yesterday say make she come join us for Onitsha
where one NGO been donate food items and different-different gift dem to us
plus including entertainment but she been tell me say she no fit come because
her body been dey pain am seriously…
“I even bring some foodstuffs back so that I go fit share to
some members wey been no fit make am come Onitsha, but I shock when I come hear
yesterday say she don die…
“Now wey she don die,
make the hospital sell her body na, so that dem go fit pay the bills wey she no
fit pay… Na so Edward talk, as she dey cry…
