T.B Joshua claims Strange Aircraft responsible for collapsed building which killed 17

The Founder and General Overseer of The Synagogue Church of All Nations, Temitope Joshua, has linked the collapse of an uncompleted Guest House owned by his church to a “strange aircraft” which he said hovered around the building before its collapse. Mr. Joshua said the plane hovered around the collapsed building for over 30 minutes. The clergyman spoke just as emergency officials told this newspaper that 17 people died in the incident while 123 others were evacuated alive and rushed to hospital. 

Briefing journalists, including a Premium Times reporter, on the incident on Saturday, the pastor played a CCTV footage of a flying aircraft to back his claim.

Breaking news. Oscar Pistorius found guilty of manslaughter

Yesterday Oscar Pistorius was found not guilty of premeditated murder and second degree murder because according to the judge, his conduct after the shooting was "inconsistent" with someone who intended to commit murder. But he has been found guilty of manslaughter this morning. The judge said he acted negligently when he fired shots into the toilet door.

*He was also found not guilty of the first firearm charge - (firing a gun through the roof of his car)
*He was found not guilty of the third firearm charge (unlawfully possessing 38 rounds of ammunition at his home without having a license).
*He was found guilty of the second firearm charge. He discharged a weapon in a public place, a restaurant called Tashas and asked his friend to take the blame. The judge says Oscar was sufficiently trained in the use of firearms, so should not have asked for a firearm in a public place

The judge said no one submitted that there was an intention to pull the trigger, but that does not absolve him of the crime of negligently handling a firearm.

Taraba Governor Suntai Stuck Abroad Again

According to Sahara Reporters, Taraba State governor Danbaba Suntai, who suffered brain injuries in a 2012 air crash, is stuck in Wellington Hospital in London with his inner circle. The group had hoped to bring him back to Nigeria on September 9, but he has failed to improve sufficiently and appears incapable of governing the state.

Earlier on Thursday, 11 of the 13 members of the executive council wrote to the Taraba House of Assembly asking for an investigation into the medical condition of the governor in order to determine his physical and mental capacity to resume work as governor.

It will be recalled that the Governor was the one flying the aircraft which crashed in 2012.  We pray God steps into his boat and heal him.

The police informed that the incident occurred on August 21, 2014 .The members of the cult group included an aged grandmother, Fatima (surname withheld). Her accomplices include Tetengi (male) and one Aminatu (surnames withheld).

Crime & Security gathered that prior to their arrest, a nine-year-old boy, Umar, was handed over by his father, Mohammed (surname withheld) to his mother, Fatima, to assist in looking after the little boy pending his arrival from a short journey within the state.

After his murder trial which began in March with 41 days of testimony spread over months,Oscar Pistorious has been found not guilty of premeditated murder(Intentional killing )of his girlfriend Reeva Stekamp.

The double amputee who was in tears through out the reading of the verdict by Judge Thokozile Masipa ,may be charged with  Culpable Homicide(Manslaughter). 

He failed the reasonable man's test which was based on what a reasonable thinking person would do in the samesituation.The judge ruled that a reasonable person would have made a call to security not just rush to shoot.She said he failed to take a reasonable step and his conduct was negligent 

The sentencing which continues tomorrow is purely based the discretion of the judge and precedence(Previous cases) .

 a man walked into GTB thinking he was all invisible because he wore an invisible ring and he could steal. The man jumped over the counter and started stuffing a bag with cash, before the cashiers held him. Police were later called in and he was asked why he did that, and he said he thought no one could see him because he wore an invisible ring.

Ebola: British Nurse Flown To Uk For Treatment Set To Return To Sierra Leone

William Pooley, the British nurse who was flown back to the UK for treatment after he contracted Ebola in Sierra Leone where he was serving the people has announced his plans to return to the country to help treat Ebola patients.

Pooley called on wealthier countries to do more in helping Africa control the epidemic. He also said it was time for Obama and Cameron to intervene as it’s a global problem, and needs global level leadership.

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation have announced it will donate $50 million to help fight the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.

The money will be used to accelerate the development of therapies, vaccines, and diagnostics that could be effective in treating patients and preventing further transmission of the disease.

The son of former president, Olusegun Obasanjo, Adeboye Obasanjo was today shot by Boko Haram men in an attack launched at the military today in Mubi. 

He was with other Lieutenant Colonels and majors and were all heading towards Michika when Boko Haram fighters unleashed the deadly attack on them.

24 soldiers in the platoon were reportedly killed by the rebels. Adeboye Obasanjo, an army engineer, was a Lieutenant Colonel at the 3rd Division in Jos, Plateau State. When reporters contacted Obasanjo family, they were told the head of their clam was on his way to Singapore.
