Pray for Dbanj, He still lives in a rented apartment. Azuka Ogujiuba cries out

Article by Azuka Ogujiuba

Do I even say that everything happened by sheer providence? I met D’banj and Don Jazzy about nine years ago through Dumebi Kachikwu who introduced me to these two burgeoning artistes then. When Kachukwu called me, l told him l was on a three-month maternity leave and that l would give him my colleague’s number to call so he could assist him with whatever they wanted to do. He insisted he wanted me on board; that D’banj and Don Jazzy would meet me at home or where ever l wanted. Bewildered but I braved the odd somehow. I told him l couldn’t leave my house because my baby was pretty young and was still breastfeeding.
However, l probed a little further why Kachikwu wanted me to do an interview with them at all cost which in my modest submission, anyone in my office could as well prosecute. And I still have a strong presence of mind, don’t mind me, I just don’t forget certain things. These were his exact words: “These guys are stars, they are going to be big mark my words” and l asked: “Which star? Nobody knows these your emergency stars o.” l remarked jocularly. Kachukwu insisted that they were stars and would be big soon in the Nigerian entertainment industry.

Well, as a Christian, I know what the Bible says of our humble beginnings. Kachikwu continued: “Azuka, l believe in these guys. They are talented, we must support them, l really need you to come on board. You have to do this for me, please.” He pleaded tenaciously.

We don't have Buhari's credentials - Nigerian Army release statement

The Nigerian Army says it does not have in its possession the original or copies of the credentials of the presidential candidate of the APC, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari. The position of the army was made known at a press conference in Abuja today Jan. 20th. The Director, Army Public Relations, Brig, Gen O. Laleye addressed news men. What he said below...
Gentlemen of the Press, I am pleased to welcome everyone back from the Christmas and the 2015 New Year festivities. On behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, officers and soldiers of the Nigerian Army, I wish you all a happy and more fulfilling 2015. Since our last media briefing on 31 December, 2014, some issues relating to the Nigerian Army have occurred and this briefing is holding specifically to address them.
I will begin with the Major General Muhammadu Buhari certificate controversy.
Gentlemen, let me state clearly that the Nigerian Army holds the retired senior officer in very high esteem and respect and would not be a party to any controversy surrounding his eligibility for any political office. Suffice to state that Major General Buhari rose steadily to the enviable rank of Major General before becoming the Head of State of our dear country in December 1983.

Jimi Agbaje New Year greetings

PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE PROPHECIES FOR 2015

The revered man of God, in his prophecies listed under four categories of Individuals, International, RCCG and Nigeria, has also predicted that the dreaded Ebola Virus Disease, which has killed over 7,000 people so far, will finally die.

For Nigeria, expectedly, the man of God was not forthcoming in reeling out the mind of God in details, as, according to him, 2015 being an election year, he has to be miser with what God has told him about Nigeria.
"Unfortunately, because it is election year, I can't tell you all that God told me about Nigeria. But I will tell you this: "By the end of the year, many will say 'all is well that ends well.'"

On what members of RCCG should expect in the New Year, Daddy G.O. told the gathering that the prophecies would be relayed to them through their pastors.
On prophecies about individuals, the seer said for members of the church, who obeyed the instruction to fast for 100 in 2014, they should expect great harvest of blessings from God.

He said God told him that 2015 will be a year of dreams fulfillment, miraculous completion of projects, miraculous restorations and a year that will replete with testimonies such that "those who have none before will have some this year."

Individual

For those who fasted for 100 days last year.

1. The Lord says the harvest for the 100 days fast will be given this year.
2. Daddy says this year will be full of testimonies, those who have non before will have this year.
3. Daddy says some of you will swim in the river of abundance this year.
4. Daddy says there will be miraculous completion of projects.
5. Daddy says there will be fulfillment of dreams.
6. Daddy says there will be miraculous restoration.
7. Daddy says the song of many will be – The Lord has been good to me.

International

1. Scientific and medical breakthrough will be many, particularly in the areas of lack of sleep, dreams and brain disorder.
2. Daddy says Ebola will die out.
3. Daddy says all over the world insurgencies will be considerately weakened.
4. He asked us to pray against massive calamities.
5. He asked us to pray against massive earthquakes, strong hurricane and typhoons.

For RCCG

1. This year all you need is to charge off your batteries by fasting for 40 days only.
Those of you who want to fast continuously 20 days and 20 nights will cover the 40 days.
If you miss one day, you have to cover it with two days.

Nigeria

By the end of the year – you will say all is well that ends well.
The fasting begins January 2nd 2015.
